Fabric and weight

T-shirts are usually made in cotton jersey, cotton-polyester blends, or polyester for sublimation and sportswear. Weight is measured in GSM (grams per square metre): lighter tees feel cool and soft, heavier tees feel solid and hold an oversized shape. Tell us the feel you want, or send a tee you like, and we confirm the exact fabric and GSM in your quote and in the sample. See our fabric GSM guide and fabric swatches.

Printing and decoration

Logo transfers coming off our DTF printer.
  • Screen print: bold, durable prints for larger runs of one design.
  • DTF print: full-colour detail, good for small runs and many colours.
  • Embroidery: a small chest logo for a premium look.
  • Sublimation: all-over prints on polyester.
  • Heat transfer: names, numbers and small logos.

Private label finishing

Your brand goes on every detail: woven or printed neck labels, care labels, hang tags and branded polybags. Clothing sold in the UK, the EU and the USA must show its fibre content, so we plan that into your labels. See private label manufacturing and woven vs printed labels.
