Delivered to Ireland
Delivered duty paid (DDP) to your door, with paperwork prepared for EU customs.
Shipping to Ireland: EU Customs, Duty, GSP+ and VAT
Since Brexit, the Republic of Ireland and Great Britain are separate customs territories. Orders for Ireland are cleared under EU rules, so we prepare the commercial invoice, product descriptions and fibre content for Irish and EU customs – not UK customs.
Imports into Ireland can attract customs duty and VAT. Ireland’s standard VAT rate is 23%, while children’s clothing and footwear are zero-rated. Pakistan’s GSP+ status with the EU can reduce or remove duty on many garments, subject to rules of origin – a real advantage when you compare landed costs.
We ship DDP to Ireland: duty and VAT are included in your quote, so there is nothing to pay when the boxes arrive.
VAT source: Ibec – VAT rates in Ireland 2026. Rates can change; confirm with your accountant.
Before you order for Ireland
- Delivery address in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland confirmed
- EU fibre content wording agreed for your labels
- DDP or duty-unpaid delivery chosen
- Season planned – rugby and football start dates, Christmas, spring drops
Northern Ireland has its own post-Brexit arrangements. Tell us the exact delivery address and we prepare the right paperwork.
Clothing Labels for Ireland: Fibre Content, Care and Origin
As an EU country, Ireland follows the EU Textile Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011. Garments must carry a fibre composition label with standard EU fibre names and percentages. Ireland’s official languages are Irish and English, and English-language labels are standard for most brands.
Care symbols and country of origin are not required by EU law in every case, but Irish retailers and marketplaces usually expect both. We sew in labels showing composition, wash care and “Made in Pakistan” next to your brand label and size tags.
Making childrenswear or school and club kit for juniors? Drawstrings on children’s clothing are covered by safety standard EN 14682. Tell us at the quote stage and we design around it.
Labels we can add to every Irish order
- Main woven brand label (neck or hem)
- Fibre composition label with EU fibre names
- Wash care label with care symbols
- Country of origin: “Made in Pakistan”
- Size labels and custom hang tags
- Custom branded packaging
You remain the brand owner on record, so please confirm your final label wording with your compliance adviser.

FAQs: Working With a Clothing Manufacturer for Irish Brands
What is your minimum order for Irish brands and clubs?
Our MOQ is 30 pieces per design, and sizes can be mixed. That keeps a first order small enough for a new label or a single club squad.
Is shipping to Ireland different from shipping to the UK?
Yes. Since Brexit, Ireland is in the EU customs area and Northern Ireland follows its own arrangements, so orders for the Republic of Ireland are cleared under EU rules, not UK rules. We prepare the paperwork for the right destination.
Who pays duty and VAT on orders to Ireland?
Imports into Ireland can attract customs duty and VAT. The standard VAT rate is 23%, while children’s clothing and footwear are zero-rated. Pakistan’s GSP+ status can reduce or remove duty on many garments, subject to rules of origin. We ship DDP to Ireland, with duty and VAT included in your quote, so there is nothing to pay on arrival.
Can you make rugby and football kits for Irish clubs?
Yes. We make sublimated rugby jerseys, football shirts, shorts and socks with club crests, sponsor logos, names and numbers, from 30 pieces per design.
Do you make BJJ gis and martial arts uniforms for Irish academies?
Yes. We manufacture BJJ gis, belts, rash guards, fight shorts and karate and taekwondo uniforms with your academy branding.
Can you produce streetwear and activewear for Irish start-up brands?
Yes. We make heavyweight hoodies, tees, sweatpants and sets, plus leggings, sports bras and training tops, all under your own label.
Do you offer custom labels, hang tags and packaging?
Yes. We make custom woven labels, hang tags (tag cards) and custom branded packaging, so your pieces arrive in Ireland ready to sell.
How long does an order take to reach Ireland?
Samples take about 8–10 days for standard customisation and bulk about 10–12 days after approval, plus shipping time. We confirm a full timeline with your quote.
